S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat on 9400GT

Static Lightning

FPS:
w/ FRAPS:30-45 FPS
w/out FRAPS:60-90 FPS

Problem:
I can only use static lightning,when I use full or enhanced dynamic lightning it always stops working
CAN YOU HELP ME TO FIX THIS PROBLEM?

wow, that is nice. I play Stalker SOC and I play it on Static Lightning too ( i think it's DX8). I don't know why 9400gt can't properly support full lightning in Stalker, but it does in other games. (I don't think ti's cuz of my stupid pentium 4, is it?)

thats a big load of shit. I have 9400 GT and right now playing trough shadow of chernobyl with full dynamic lightning and medeium settings, plus deacresed few in advanced mode. About CoP, i played it on Direct X 10, takes a while to load but there is one mod like no prefetch mod and it loads waaay faster. Anyway, 9400 GT rns all stalker just fine with dynamic lightning the problem is you guys.

I just got Stalker COP. I have Pentium 4 3.06GHz, 9400gt, 3Gb DDR2 RAM, but i cannot play it on static even on 800x600 and everything on the lowest. Whenever I am around some buildings or safe-bases i have 20-17 FPS. On the open air i have 50FPS. Does anybody knows why is that. I can play Shadow of Chernobyl on static w/ 50-90 fps. Why is that? plz help.

me to on static but the gameplay people that's what maters!!!!! for me the graphic are on medium and 800x600 resolution

Hey you're not missing anything if you're playing on static instead of full dynamic. The game looks practically the same. I have a Radeon 4670 and I prefer to play on static. Even though I get some high fps on dynamic my framerate in not consistent and I get a lot of hickups. So I'm playing on static.
