Locate in the middle of Vietnam, Hoi An ancient town was considered as the world heritage by UNESCO.
During first century, with the name Lam Ap Pho (Champa city), it's the largest harbour in Southeast Asia.
In 16th and 17th, when many Chinese, as well as Japanese, Dutch and Indian settled down, it's call Hai Pho (Seaside town). However, as a result of mis-communication between a local habitant and a Spanish trader around 17th century, when he asked whether this place was Pho (town) and received the answer :"Phai! Pho" (Yes! Town).
Today, with its ancient and quiet style, Hoi An has attracted a fair number of national and international tourists. In Hoi An, just with some dollars, you can enjoy almost delicious and nutrition foods here. Coming to Hoi An, we can visit many art and craft shops, cafe shops and restaurants with the same characteristic as Hoi An along Thu Bon romantic river. At night, when the town was lighten by thousands of decorative multi-coloured lanterns, walking along short streets, dying in fresh and cool air from Thu Bon river, you will feel peaceful as you never do.
