Great video. I tore my 19, 23, and 30 down minutes after watching. Piece of cake thanks to the video. Keep em coming!
Love my Glocks but would like to hear what are your thoughts about Taurus? I recently bought a Taurus PT145. Haven't shot it yet but it feels good in the hand and trigger feels good. I would like to see you do a comparison between this gun and Glock 30. They are very similar in size. Thanks!

"If I can do it everybody can do it" not too many people can shoot like you!

@WarriorSpirit3a That is normal, it's called a "spring cup," it holds the spring in place. If you want to take the striker assembly apart take the pressure off the spring and you will see the cup comes apart in two halves. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to reassemble.

I meant it has a split in it. Sorry for the typo.

Hi and Thank You for this great video. All are great but this is really helpful. Question: On my Gen 3 G-17, on the striker assembly, just behind the firing pin itself and forward of the spring, there is a little black plastic washer or like part that holds the spring behind the firing pin. Mine has a spit on it. Is this normal or do I need a new firing pin assembly?
Hello Mr. Hickok sir. I've been told you MUST replace the recoil spring @ 1,500 rounds AT THE VERY MOST!!!!!! What do you think about this? I have 4,200 rounds thru my GL 26 & it still works fine. What is your opinion on WHEN to replace the springs?? Thank You Sir. Sincerely, JAMES.

@buzzclark, Was it a Glock parts salesman? :-) I don't know. On a carry gun, I'd rather err on the side of caution and change it out more often than necessary, of course; however, I shot a G23 many, many thousands of times through the '90s on the range and in matches, and I don't think I EVER changed out the recoil spring.
