DemocracyNow.org -

Newly released documents show Palestinian negotiators agreed to give up large tracts of West Bank land, and nearly all of East Jerusalem, in peace talks with the Israeli government. The disclosure is among many contained in what is being called the "Palestine Papers"—over 1,700 files from inside Israeli-Palestinian negotiations dating from 1999 to 2010. The news network Al Jazeera began publishing details of the documents on Sunday. We speak with Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi.

  • BTW UN also declare that blockade was legal.

    UN that hardly pro-Israeli

  • @boazmoss The papers are out there...just read them. It's not some mass conspiracy. Tony Blair was pissed about it and confirmed that the leak was real. So luckily you don't have to take the side of Democracy Now! or Rashid Khalidi...you can look for yourself.

  • @zapproowsdower I'm curious why this is true...could you explain?

  • Thanks for the propaganda!

  • Khalidi is a scumbag, and a tool of the elite clique of Washington. Take anything he says with a grain of salt. He's a liar and would sooner spit on a "fellow" palestinian than look at him.

  • On a related topic concerning freedom, that ALJAZEERA' does not allowr comments. I'd like to express Kudos to AJE for the Palestinians Papers. I don't know why the PA still has ANY support at all from even a few people. HOWEVER, what I REALLY BELIEVE is important is the close proximity of the publishing of the P.P.'s to the many Arab & Muslim uprisings across the M-E. today. ALJAZEERA REALLY focused attention on the Internet & News that permitted the conditions for people to FINALLY protest.

  • boazmass wrote that Dem Now is pro Arab for having Rashid Khalidi on. Apparently the whole world (UN, HRW, AI, etc.), except US, is "pro Arab" since it supports rights of individuals to live freely - free of occupation and repression.

To a Zionist, who is too used to Pro Zionst US Congress (paid by AIPAC) and pro Zionist American media (with mostly Jewish ZIonists editors), it may be shocking to see a non Zionist expressing his views. Hence boazmoss' ignorance is legit.

  • Israel supports brutal dictator Mubarak while brags about being "the only democracy in the region".

    It supported South African Apartheid.

Occupation is the big elephant in the room.

  • This is so confusing. Whose side should I be on?

  • Democracy now! is pro Arab and so is Columbia University for hiring Rashid KHalidi.

By Pro Arab I mean ,on the payroll.:) Or, simply oblivious of reality.

    Dont bother to reply.
