In my somewhat biased opinion Rufus's beautiful tenor is perfectly complimented by the ethereal honeyed tones of Kate and Anna, especially offsetting his occasional hoarse timbre (very sexy by the way). And OMG could he look any more handsome than in this video? (thank you Retebeuf2). When he is done with us he sweeps offstage leaving us feeling like Anna Karenina must have done waving goodbye to Count Vronsky at that train station...

No one can sing this like Rufus really. I am French and even French singers can't. His version always gives me shivers and shudders <3 He's really one the best singer of our times, such a powerful voice.

I like the McGarrigle sisters and I like that they have distinctive voices, but I *really* don't think they suit backing vocals, especially beside Rufus's vocal.

no, it was not playback, it was 'live', it's just that my computer i guess isn't powerful enough,and the voice and video goes out of synch when i upload.
