MORPHEUS: That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else, you were born into bondage, born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch. @6619bryanozzy I think this is not a biblical reference in the film but refers to The Strawman Illusion. Your Birth Certificate being a registration to a Corperation who are borrowing vast amounts of money from corperations using your potential to pay tax and fines as a means to continue trade. Since most countries (corperations) assets have long since been globalised and therefore they have nothing else to trade on other than peoples ability to pay tax. Rendering the people as debt slaves.
