I'm white (not that it matters) but I've always been irritated by the fact that Americans never had a black president. Even though sometimes they shot movies where the president was black, eg, fifth element, and others. It was like dangling candy in front of a baby, saying, here it is, but you can't have any. Or for that matter, women either. It fucks me off. Either way it would be a winner. But it's high time we got over skin colour issues.

By the way, I'm of the opinion that Hillary didn't lie. Google "false memory syndrome" and I think you'll see that it makes a lot of sense. And, actually, it's a lot scarier than simply "a lie". Hillary knows this and thus is quite content to say "I misspoke".

Hillary said she gets the "hard working white American" vote. So count me as a hard working white American for Obama. Yeah, she should be really proud of the campaign she's running and for being the undisputed choice of uneducated white people.
I saw an article on MSNBC today about the racial hatred encountered by a number of Obama campaign workers as they canvass for him. If I'm honest, I have to admit that I would love those nice people to live under a black President of the USA!

Everytime I meet a white person, I wonder... is this person gonna judge me by my color? Is this person racist? Call it paranoia but I can't help wondering. But if Obama wins... I'll be able to BELIEVE that the majority of white voting Americans are NOT racists and don't judge me by my color. That alone is a huge relief.

And on top of that it sends out a huge message to the entire world about the beautiful country this CAN be if only we truly live by the ideals embedded in the Constitution. That is, if Bush/Cheney haven't completely stripped the document of all meaning by Jan. 20, 2009.
