  • @piratzrule I disagree. It's supposed to be a frenetic rage, any trace of seeming tame for tonality would defy the plan for the story.

  • it's a bit too dark, his sound. he sounds like he's swallowing his voice.

  • Wonderful. Many thanks for posting. He is my favorite Baritone from today.

  • UNBEATABLE!!!!

  • very nice.

  • Bel uomo ,bella voce ma perche urla,e questi portamenti ,e da dove viene questo accento ...... ?

A me non mi piace affatto .

  • Brilliant! I love this particular piece. Thanks for posting.

  • the ornamentation is indeed from a different version, but it works well here, in my opinion. it spices up the repeated "gia la speranza sola," and to me it doesn't "ruin" the build up at the end, but accents it.

  • beh, i puristi che lo diccono....per me è troppo quell'ornamento..che ne so....!?

  • don't know what I think of the ending...hmm, not sure about it at all- I take Solit's word over Jimmy Levine's any day on stuff like that, and he never did it.

But Dwayne Croft can sing anything in my ear any day!
