We begin our story with Yuki and Zero's newfound relationship that has become something deeper.

Feeling the longing that they carry for one another they realize they care for one another and begin to start a deeper relationship.

Once this relationship has begun Yuki begins to notice Kaname's jealousy and suspects as if he's plotting something. She has as always offered her blood willingly to Zero but as time goes by he begins taking her blood eagerly without the former burden of disgust.

Yuki's feelings of love for him are overflowing within her but as time goes by her past affects her more dramatically and she finds herself reluctant and more fearful than before.

Zero know but his heart and mind are unaware of what to do and with each moment his relationship with his Yuki becomes strained. Zero doesn't feel as if there's any other option for him but to leave her so that he won't cause her anymore but he's promptly stopped by Yuki who begs him to stay with her.

Zero complies and things are stable between them for a bit. Days have passed and despite Zero's attempts to survive on blood tablets he finds himself starving for Yuki. The longing for her blood once again takes Zero over and he forcibly takes Yuki's blood once again. The pain for both of them is too much and Yuki pushes him away the memories of her tragic past coming over her full force during Zero's attack.

It's silent for a moment and Zero knows he's hurt Yuki not only by breaking her trust but by forcibly taking from her. The strain is too much for both and them and Yuki gets up the courage to say words she despises.

"It just isn't working out between us."

Feeling as if he doesn't deserve to speak the words to beg her to stay Zero becomes consumed in his loneliness and only wants to be able to find a stable place in Yuki's heart. A place where he can gently hold her without squeezing so tightly.

Watch until the end to see what happens as Zero tries to find his place in the Diary of Yuki.
