Verification is a process that the government requires us to perform in order to verify the information students put on their FAFSA is accurate. About 35% of students get selected for verification on a random basis. You can also be selected if you put contradicting information on the application.
Once you've been selected, you'll get an email with directions to go to Banner Web and see the required documents. Once you return all the required documents to us, we will try to process it as fast as we can. You should send the documents as soon as possible because it usually takes 3 weeks to process but may take as long as 5 weeks.
