  • crazy sound :)

  • @Dudmd2 ...and only way is stroker kit which is QUITE expensive. Check noellemotors.de. For extra 3000 grand you can buy cams/heads and decent exhaust for LS to boost the power over 100hp easy! But no matter, I still maintain this is a fine drifter (M60 in a small E30 BMW!) :))) Chears!

  • @Dudmd2 M60 for 500 bucks??? In good condition? You can consider yourself EXTREMLY lucky if thats the case, a 4L V8 form old 740 without (!) tranny (and complete motor!) will set you back 1500€ AT LEAST! And 1k for the transmission. For 2500-3000˘€ you can get LS1 with 100k and T56, I'm more than sure. But that's not the point. The point is aftermarket tuning which is on the BMW V8 engine expensive if you wanna go higher HP. A simple chip, intake and exhaust wont get you more than 20hp combined

  • @Symbrio

an M60b40 can be had for $500 at a junk yard, 6 speed E39 tranny another $500

Find me a good condition LS motor, and then a T56 for 1K together, see where I'm coming from?

E30 with an m60b40 doesn't need a supercharger, just an exhaust and a higher revving chip.

  • @420witchdoctor BMW straight-6's and V8's usually have 11:1 compression.

    Both my 520i (6-cyl 2.0L) and my E39 M5 (V8 5.0L) got 11:1 :)

  • Don't wanna sound like hater, but a V8 car should produce A LOT more smoke, especially if it's built drift car like this one. As good as BMW V8 is, a LS smallblock is far better in this sort of car. Easier and cheaper to tune, CAI package will boost the power to the same level as this motor would with supercharger (over 400whp!) for faaaar less money. It's more durable aswell. BUT, in any case, thumbs up for any drift car (homebuilt!) NO MATTER the engine! Two thumbs up!!! :)

  • I want to do this swap so bad....that is awesome

  • Who the fuck is Kalie for one, and for two YOU shut your fucking head, faggot!

  • shut up, kalie

  • Ah, cool. Smaller is better with V8s. I've got me an old 289 Ford engine, lol. But nothing like this. I want either a Benz or BMW V8 like this and it's going into a Chevy Luv pickup 4X4.

  • No, 244 and 268 cu in. (1liter= 61cu in) In Europe they are considered 'big engines' for luxury cars. Honestly, they are a way more modern units than the good old small block. Bimmer V8's have 4 valves/ cyl, valvetiming, high compression ratio, 2 camshaft/ cyl bank, refined fuel injection and engine management. Drowing out the same performance of a small block requires much more displacement.

  • Well, 287 and 298 cubic inches, huh? Sounds like awesome compression!!!

  • 4.0 and 4.4 liters. Not as big displacement as small blocks but they also perform very well, and easier to build in.

  • So like what liters are those engines?

  • Actually u r rite but this particular car got a BMW V8 from the 5 or 7 series.

  • And people be dissin V8s all the time. Small block V8s are great in little cars like this.

  • correct ;)

  • this was in hungary :)

  • I doubt it, regular 4.0 or 4.4 V8 instead.

  • Maybe it is the new ///M3 V8 in it:D

  • nicee

  • Fuuuuuuuuuuuck! aaawsome!!

  • fuck yeah, this cunt can drive too!
