Bodybuilder Luis "Joey " Moreno squats 505 Lbs. weighing 178 lbs.
The bar is a Texas Squat Bar it's 8' long and weighs 55 lbs. Joey is without knee wraps and is utilizing a crappy belt, which he loves.

  • @schnarf5 If you read the description it clearly states that he's a pro bodybuilder goo,gl/oo83l. There's a link to a recent picture Just change the coma to a period.

That's why he squats with a close stance in order to better build his quads. Even then, he was recruited by Louie Simmons of Westside Barbell where he ended up squatting slightly under 800 pounds. I think he knows a little more about form and squatting than you do.

  • @arnold84500 Is this from personal experience?

  • This guy is massively underachieving his true squat potential for the following:

He's short and pretty damn big in the legs.

His form is awful- his knees bend forward over his toes taking hamstring tension out and putting it on weaker smaller quads.

His stance is narrow, widening will shorten rom and bring in glutes.

The bar is a little high on the back.

I'm 2-3inches taller, only 20lbs heavier, less lean, smaller legs and do over 500.

With the right form this guy should do at least 550.

  • he's like 2 feet tall.

  • i squat like that when i dump a massive load. u must have a tiny dick.
