TV Commercial - Diamonds are Forever

Diamonds are only marketed as "rare" , they really aren't, it's juts a controlled release marketing gimmick that DeBeers and others use.
I always thought it was very poor taste for Michael Jackson to wear diamond studded socks and a diamond glove on stage.

Diamonds were always apart of humanity. Check out the construction of the temple of God, the Ark of the Covenant, Salomon's temples, the Isrealite's crown. Christ never says anything against wealth. How diamonds are attained however, is another matter altogether.
