@MetroidSavior ah i see: what you mean with 'bpv' is a recirculated bov;) what does bpv stands for? but if you don't have a recirculated system with integrated bov, you can install an open bov valve cause the sensor for the air.intake, it does not care about air which 'pops' out by the bov, fact: there is NOT to less air;)

@MetroidSavior And unless you change how the engine thinks/behaves, you are pulling a rug out from the ecu's feet. Whether that change is significant is up to each person, but before purchasing a bov make sure its not some pos bov. The better quality bov the less air it will leak = the more boost you maintain. You can loose a lot of horsepower by loosing boost pressure.

@surlograsp Well when you shift all of the boost that was being pushed into the engine has no where to go. If you don't deal with it it will hurt your engine, so with a bpv it takes the air and moves it back into the system where it won't hurt the engine. Bov does the same, but it just vents that air into the atmosphere. Bov vs. bpv has been around for decades, and what people don't understand is that by changing your car from stock (bpv) to aftermarket part (bov) you are changing something.

@MetroidSavior puh, a bit different to understand cause i'm german. u want to say that this sound after throtteling comes from the open wastegate? the air in the wastegate also to the exhaust make that sound? or is it REALLY a bov?
