The English language is riddled with irregularities that cause problems for people trying to learn English as either a primary or secondary language; millions of people are now functionally illiterate, and English speaking countries are facing a literary crisis. This video was made as the capstone of an in-depth research paper on the subject, and which advocates the implementation of reform as the best solution to the current literary avails in the English speaking (and writing) world.

@lsatep The only reason you think they're "dumeng it down" is because you're so used to an irregular spelling system where all the words have a complicated spelling that you have to remember for each word and you are so used to judging people on how the spell. Well you're wrong because they making it PHONETIC improves literacy rates. Sure, I agree with the etymology part but no one cares about it any more.
