too bad we'll never hunt caribou on the island ever again.I shot my last caribou on the last day of the season this year.

@Bradymonster good question..put it this way ..no outfit would say a hunt was "for sure" this time of year although there seamed to be lots of animals few weeks ago on the northern Peninsula(nothing like 5 years ago mind you).....when it shuts down alltogether is up to fish and game ...the animals are taking the hit faster farther south,but its no problem to go see a winter kill carcase any time you want up here in the northern part and the caribou(though still plentifull) are way less

Wow, that was excellent. I couldn't believe how close you guy's got her to that caribou, you boys obviously know the lay of the land.

Had a great fall, miss the country up there already,home was looking pretty good after that long up there though lol...im thinking of hiking In next week to do a litle Bird hunting.
