  • @djeivers Cool, what is your father's name? I doubt he was in prior to my Dad, as mine was a founding member of the unit and ultimately became the 1st Sergeant. What years was your Dad in the 304?

  • @KMCLARN My father was also with the 304th...probably prior to your father... he was an engineer in the previously named SA-16....

  • WOW.....got any more ?????

  • As Radio operator, I sat right behind the CO-Pilot. Mid 50's at Goose bay, Labrador...With the 54th Air rescue Sqaudron...John Gould

  • @kg4yvw Just to convey this message, My Dad was a Flight Engineer on the SA-16 (41st ARS) and just after I ask for the title of this movie, We lost Dad from a massive heart attack 08-01,10. Yes!! He did love the Mighty Albatross,

  • Excellent! Dad was an Air Reserve Technician whose unit, the 304 ARRS (Air Force Reserve) flew the mighty HU-16 out of Portland Oregon.

  • Thank you for posting this! My Dad flew the SA-16 in Korea and was a detachment commander.

  • I would like to know the title of this movie. Thanks, Rick

  • does any one have the full lenght version of this?

  • My experience with the SA-16 was when they were also used by the Coast Guard and they were always impressive.
