  • How much nitro did you use during break-in?

  • 10 % nitro 16 % syn oil 4% castor for the run in.

I now run 20 % nitro 18% oil & there is a noticable performance increase.

    Also using a 13 X 7 APC Prop.

  • Who makes the kit for that plane?

  • It's a modeltec SE5 kit 54" wingspan from memory ...and scaled up a little bit.

Was a great flyer to but lost it a week ago due to the elevator control rod snapping in flight.

  • It sure sounds sweet.

I've just got a .56 Alpha, I haven't run it yet. The model is only half finished. How did you get on with it?

  • The engine is tops...only Drama I've had is with the wood prop chewing out on the prop hub and slipping , now running a 11.5 X 6 nylon Prop which provides heaps of thrust and sounds great.

Really clean running engine even running rich.

Have you seen my first flights video plenty of power for this Model.
