@lilmisscleo in Lithuania it was ruthenian language, slavonic, which later developed into nowadays belarusian, ukrainian and rusyn.

There was never a World War betwen Germanic and Slavs many times they actualy coloborate of course hostilies happen but not that gigantic epic struggle that we all hear about that is mainly fantasy look to the god dammend Russians they are the sons of mixture of Germanic Norse and Eastern Slavs!

@arturasa Vytautas was commander of Polish-Lithuanian army, but under Jagiello (Jogaila) authority. What i mean is, Vytautas was in charge of battle and he was making decisions, but official leader was Jagiello (Jogaila) coz he was crowned king. Greetings from Lithuania to all polish brothers

Germans (Austria-Hungary) created Ukraine in opposition to Poland, during the occupation 1772-1918.
Look at Polish borders before the partitions - 1772...
Of course, Britain, France, Germany and Russia are always against Poland.
