HD! HD! HD!

So I finally uploaded this (I've had it done a month). In my defence it was HELL to render, and the colouring is sadly distorted, i.e red, by the settings I ended up choosing. So I appologise on all those fronts.

As per usual, Natalie is the dedicatee, because of her unrivalled awesomeness and because she was always there to talk to. We both have a thing for Mumsy's music and I thought this song would fit the Boleyn Faction very well. I wanted to include the Seymours too because let's be honest, Tom + Eddie + Anne are utter legends. However, I couldn't really fit them in and I figured that at the end of the day, Natalie and I are more Boleyn than Seymour, Same goes for Kitty and Henry Howard, I couldn't find a direction connection. Damn Hirst for writing Norfolk out.

Also, I am aware that dubbing the characters featured in the video as 'The Boleyn Faction' is not the most historically accurate thing. However, I was working with what Hirst gave me. Norris, for example, had like, NO role in The Tudors so I couldn't really include him whereas Smeaton's character is explored and somewhat adjusted by Hirsty, so he gets to be in the vid :)

  • It's awesome and amazing! I wish there were more Boleyn Faction vids out there, cause they are an interesting bunch. I love how you portrayed Cranmers faith too, with the flashes between Mary and the heretics burning. It's just so beautifully done! Thank you for making my day :D

  • @creadiem1 THANK YOU. This is literally my most unpopular vid so I am so glad you liked it and took the time to comment :)

I think it's a shame that more people hasn't seen this... Cause, as I said before, it's both an amazing vid and about an interesting bunch of people. With all that death and treachery it's almost like a real-life soap opera. I think Sir Francis Bryan was a part of the Boleyn Faction in the beginning too, Anne's man in Rome or something like that.

  • @creadiem1 Well I'm glad you like it! And of course I totally agree.

  • I haven't been on youtube for awhile and I come back to see so many fantastic videos! This one is the best :). Faved.

  • @sarahjanemahl I don't believe I haven't seen this comment before! THank you so much :)

  • One of the best videos I've ever seen, not to just parrot the comment before me. I love this song and The Boleyns. And The Tudors, of course, lol. Really great video. <3

  • This is one of the finest Tudor videos I have ever seen - hell, one of the best videos on YouTube. The music really fits the crescendo of tragedies in the Boleyn faction, and I really feel the grief and tragedy of their story...not like i already didn't... :(

I also am very pleased with the quote you used at the end, by Anne Boleyn - because to me, it is one of the most overlooked lines of her speech, but essentially the most important, as she seems to be speaking to all future historians :)

  • this is fabulous! xxx

  • Best Tudors video ever!
