which the last half or so Piper explains how this went down, and that it's real and unscripted. This was a real shoot, and when he smacked Russo it was a real hit. Russo was genuinely pissed at Piper.

Whether it's a work or not, the point is - we don't know - it's hard to tell. That's what's so lacking in most wrestling today. That doubt. That feeling that maybe these two guys really can't stand eachother. WWE lacks that a lot now.
