Many people who have trouble with dairy can eat ghee because it lacks the milk solids that give rise to problems, plus it has a distinct and delicious taste to add to your healthy dishes!

  • NEVER put butter (clarified or not) on a burn! She is wrong, wrong, wrong about that and it's a common myth.

  • @DrLarry2007 i'm indian by origin my family back home suffers from lots of different problems like strokes diabetes and heart attacks. they eat a lot of ghee.

  • this is very funny, in ireland 'gee' is a slang term for a vagina and this chick loves to eat gee.

  • @finitee Yes, this is true as well. Fish oils (especially molecular distilled) are the good polyunsats to help bring the omega 6s in balance.

  • @jongagne1 Omega 3's are bad once your omega 3/omega 6 ratios are off. The reason they're off is because we're getting too many omega 6's from highly processed vegetable oils.

But I agree with you that we're eating way too much.

  • Its the lack of moderation of food that is causing the problem. Sat. fats are fine when you have a calorie deficiency, but when you have a calorie surplus, it leads to big health problems.

Btw, Omega 3 is a polyunsaturated fat. Do you really think omega 3 is bad for you?

  • @DrLarry2007 Yeah, clarified butter has been around for 1000s of years without any problems but its not until relatively recently that there has been too much food. Eating it in moderation is totally fine, but in modern western society moderation is dead (US/CAN/UK censuses report OVER 2/3 of people over weight and OVER 1/3 are obese. Countess studies show a direct correlation between saturated fat consumption and heart disease and stroke, an overweight/obese people are particularly affected.

  • @jongagne1 polyunsaturated fats are horrible for you. When do you think heart disease/cancer started being prevalent in the world? When polyunsaturated fats became a big part of our diets. Humans have been eating vast amounts of saturated fats for thousands of years and it has never been a problem.

  • she is so fuck`n UNNATURAL.

  • @jongagne1 Its true but whats strange is that Ghee (clarified butter) has been used in places like india for 1000's of years and they never had any health issues caused by it. I wonder if it has some thing to do with eating habits. Americans are known for over eating and perhaps thats the root cause of the problem. Eat Butter/Ghee or what ever you like BUT eat in "MODERATION" and you will be fine.
