the most important purpose of judges is to maintain a sizable wedge btwn the elites and the other people. judges do this by training the people to call them "Your Honor" or "The Honorable..." judges have a special role to test people if they will bow to a "Honorable" person.

the thing about a legal system is secondary. that is why if a judge wants you to lose--you will lose.
