Stonescover of "Paint it Black", the B-Side of "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses" single in 1992.
I think it's a really polarising song and I can't help myself, I like the Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones, but I always like this one. So you have to decide on your own.

You are all stupid... A cover by a band of a song from another isn't aiming to be as good or better as the original, in the same sound, it's a tribute... U2 was in the experimentation of new sound before Achtung Baby when they did that, and they wanted to give this song a shot with a new kind of sound that they were developing. By no mean they wanted to sound as the rolling stones. And this is actually pretty good in it's own style.
