Bill Lomas's shop is still in Derbyshire UK, although not at Millford, now at Clay Cross and run by his son. I remember driving by Bill's shop at Milllford in my parents car when I was a kid.

Brings back memories... I worked for Bill after leaving school.

skip to 7:30 if you are here to watch the bike move

@motorguzzi100 the thing that interested me more was 16,000 rpm

Would have loved to see that in person. I've been riding Guzzi's since i first seen one. 1967 v700 to my present 1991 Calif3 Big Valve. No other motorcycle compares.

by the way: you pronounce it "moto guzzi" not "moto gousy", OK? and "giuseppe todero" and not "giuseppy toderöu".....

@VAMIRACING AH!...the vagaries of language, and more specifically, pronunciation. Mildly humourous...really.

Great vid, but why is there a loop around 9 minutes to 9 minutes 25?

@Lukeno52 I recognized that many lads would be 'aving a pint (beer) as they viewed this, and feared that some might be "sipping", at the moment of the crash. Well, I surely didn't want them to miss out now, did I. (NO, I did not!)
