Following the success of Dune II, this was the first real-time strategy game of the Command & Conquer series, developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive in 1995. In the Tiberian series, the story was about a war between two factions: the Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod.

Ohh this brings back memories. I must have played 100's of hours on this especially on LAN. DUNE 2 started it all.

I do miss WESTWOOD. Hate EA for destroying an epic franchise.

Google "OpenRA" and check that out. It's the original command and conquer plus red alert with updated game play.  No campaign, about the only thing that sucks, but you can do both single player or multi player skirmishes (I would post a link but for some reason youtube has a stick up its ass right now).

Dude i just want you to know from the bottom of my heart that my search has ended. I have been searching for C&C for nearly 10 years!! All i did was frigging forget the game was called C&C! I'm so relieved right now, can't express!
