May showing examples of Book of Mormon Armor and Battle Mound. For more info please visit http://maxwellinstitute.byu.edu/publications/books/?bookid=66&chapid=732

The contents of this video were originally first uploaded as "BOM Armor and Battle Mounds." on November 19th, 2009 and never really got the exposure that it deserves! I found this and his other 9 videos "fascinating!" and I re-uploaded this video to help boost his viewership and encourage others to view the actual "Archeological Evidence" that most claim is non-existent! Opponents to these findings will rarely be convinced but soon enough, the evidence will be so blaringly obvious that it will be rejection based on apathy versus actual lack of evidence.

  • i sure hope that this odious buffoon isnt teaching this laughably unscientific nonsense at any accredited university .

  • @woodenmajor - saying that there is no connection here would be like saying, "Those couldn't possibly be copper breastplates... they aren't even the color of copper."

  • oh ..they MIGHT indeed be copper breast plates but to count as actual SCIENCE this "evidence " would need to vetted a number of different ways and then as such such findings would need to be published in a peer reviewed journal of archeology ...which ALAS ,has not happened.. nor will it ever ..am i right ..mr LSDlife ?

because if it DID.. it would be FRONT PAGE news ,wouldnt it ..on the cover of newsweek ?,nation geographic? ,US news? ,time? ...hmmmm?

  • The Incas and, if I remember correctly, the Aztecs also had metals attached to their armor.

  • @LDS4Life71 you testify that the BoM simply IS the word of God and that JS was a true prophet yet there are easily many explanations for what JS saw in his vision. i had a very similar experience to his vision--woke up with a demon paralyzing me and preventing me from speaking and even praying. i then learned of an age-old phenomenon called hypnogogia which (usually due to exhaustion) causes paralyzation and the mind to hallucinate both visually AND audibly. just for fun, google it.

  • @LDS4Life71 ironic that you say i "keep coming to your sites to sit and point fingers" yet isn't that what LDS missionary work is all about, bringing YOUR testimony to OTHER people's "sites"? funny how if someone has a testimony contrary to yours, they are but silly, ranting heretics and apostates. somehow their testimony is less valid than your own conviction of the "truth".

  • @THELDSLIFE ""Pride..." - Not unlike other drugs which enters the body, pride enters the mind permitting NOTHING else to enter therein."

exactly (though partially) my point. but you didn't answer the question. does it not bother you that when all is said and done your final attitude toward people who don't believe as you do is one of lies and gross false witness, pride and scorn? you revert to mocking them by using phrases like "some of these folks are well drugged."

    from your BoM: Alma 5:30

  • @SvenTveskegg - depends on what the drug of choice happens to be. Many are addicted to "Pride..." - Not unlike other drugs which enters the body, pride enters the mind permitting NOTHING else to enter therein.

Well drugged... drinking the cool aid... if the boot fits....

  • @THELDSLIFE does it not bother any of you "defenders of truth on youtube" that at the end of the day, almost all of you revert to cheap shot name-calling, false witness, scorn, pride, and all sorts of other unchristlike ways to treat the "apostates" and antimormons?

"Some of these folks are well drugged."

this comment is GROSSLY categorized as FALSE WITNESS and mockery. does it not bother you one tiny bit that you have this kind of childish attitude towards your fellow men?
