@Beepoe111 it "steams" because the engine is cold and the computer is richening the fuel mixture so that it warms up faster. When its cold the o2's heater circuit has not warmed up enough to send information back to the computer, therefore the circuit is running in open loop. So on cold start there is no coolant flow throughout the engine because the coolant temperature has not reached a sufficient level for the thermostat to open. When the engine is cold it is normal to see alot of exhaust.

Cool Car, Hey Notice your vid is in December and your Monte produced a fair amount of Steam, how cold was it? I just bought a 07 ss and it seams to steam alot more than other cars on cold days (any day below 50degs) does/did yours do the same? Mine steams about as much as yours but more than others makes models of cars on average. I just had it checked out for HeadGasket Leak but results were negative. Its kinda freaky I notice that even if I drive for a long distance on a brisk day it steams.

Nice car, but it would be nice to see the Interior. That sounds like it was a good deal when purchased.

@OLDS98 I'll do my usual walk around video. I will show the interior and under the hood, too. The Silhouette and Roadmaster are due for the same.
