I apologize if the length seems a bit much. At the time, it was more convenient to simply have them combined at the time this was made.

Me and my brother wanted to approach this in various ways, so it ultimately ended up that the first part, Silicon Girl was edited more along the lines of my style, while Wake Me Up Inside was more along Saberwing's style.

You know people like you are the reason why I almost HATE hearing Evanescence. HOW. MANY. TIMES. MUST. I. WATCH. AN. EVANESCENCE. AMV?!?!?! I like Eiffel 65 but that song just sucks. It's a good match with the tiltle and all but you can do better!

For the record, we made this before the days of Youtube and Windows Movie Maker, so to us, it wasn't very clear that it was as over used as it was.

This AMV was made a good chunk of years ago.

I completely understand where you are getting at, and I agree. Had we known the song was going to catch on like it did, we probably would have picked something else.

I must say, I'm extremely impressed. Usually dual song AMV's drop off thier quality by the second song, but this one took a turn to being totally hard core and awesome.

Not to mention that doing an AMV to 'bring me to life' is a big risk now that everyone and thier brother have made an AMV to it, so making yours stand out was quite an accomplishment!

I can agree a little but I honestly don't mind with this. I think it's because you picked a different version of bring me to life that it doesn't have the same effect as all those other amvs that have the other version in.

I remember that event! (I found your site just after the fact, though.) You people had some AWESOME videos. I've even still got some of them on a flash drive. I dl'd them about a month and a half or so before most of them got removed. Glad I did. Can't find 'Game High' here on Youtube.

I remember seeing this AMV ages ago, and loved it. It made me really, really want to see Metropolis, and I loved the movie (save that terrible "I Can't Stop Loving You" ruining the moment, IMO).

Can I ask where you found that version of "Wake Me Up Inside/Bring Me To Life" without the backup singers and just Amy Lee singing? I can't find it anywhere.

This was one of the first AMVs I watched (back on your old website), and it's still one of my favorites to this day (not that I've seen a great deal of them, I just know that this is good).
