Tibetan Nurse at Gaden Shartse Monastery Clinic. While the small charitable hospital(aka "clinic" in the U.S.) is now open, there is no funding for the equipment for the operation of the clinic. Gaden Shartse Monastery was founded in the mid 1400s in Tibet and thrived as an institution of learning until 1959, when it was destroyed by the Communist Chinese occupation of Tibet. 6,000 monasteries were destroyed and 1.2 million Tibetan people perished in the Chinese "Cultural" Revolution. Less then 50 of the high lamas of the great Gaden Monastery survived the incursion and sought to rebuild the monastery in exile in souther India. Please visit thier website www.gadenshartsetoour.org
A living Lama who loves and resides in Malaysia. How forunate can we get! Not only do I support the many meaningful projects he is involved in, I also enjoy watching his videos and teachings. His students are really devoted in spreading his message of personal transformation and to live by and for the Dharma.I especially like his mantra ' If not now, when ?

This is a great video. I enjoyed watching. Another recognized reincarnated Lama of Gaden Monastery residing in Malaysia is H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. Rinpoche lived in USA for many years and speaks perfect english. Very easy to communicate with and has much knowledge. Rinpoche was recognized at 7 months old. His father is Tibetan and mother is pure Mongolian royalty. Born in Taiwan, then taken to US and return back to Gaden in India. Very interesting. see website tsemtulku(dot)com. Great Lama!!
