ALL NEW! As a little bonus to the previous 2 clips, here is the intro to the Playoff game between the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs! This game was a QB rematch of Super Bowl XIX. This time Marino and Miami would win it in Joe Montana's last game... Also of an odd note is that as of now, this was the last time the Dolphins wore their home uniforms at home during a daytime game!

  • I never really liked the 12:30 PM and 4PM starts for playoff games. It should be the same as the regular season, though I can't complain about the 4:30 PM and 8PM starts for Saturday playoff games.

  • @FutureNewsAnchor I think the NFL set it up that way so that the odds of having both games going at the same time were far lower... :)

  • Hey WREYtube can you upload the Monday Night Football Intro that was shown on New Year's Eve that has Dick Clark in it please?

  • @Haurko01 Don't recall that one... what year did that occur?

  • Did the Chiefs host Monday Night games in 94?

  • @ToroRosso20 Don't think they did... They played at Denver and at Miami in 2 Monday Night games that I remember, which would have given them 1 more shot... I'll have to check it out... :)

  • Joe Montana...struggling?????

  • I miss the NFL on ABC, they were always underrated in my opinion.

  • I can recall this game like it was yesterday. The Pack had beaten the Lions earlier in the day and I watched this game with my friend David at his place while we celebrated New Years.

  • @HamptonRoadsTVFan Plus, Lynn also worked college games in the '80s, although '94 was his first year working with Keith Jackson on ABC's College Football. He'd work the Rose Bowl two days after this game.

  • @FutureNewsAnchor Sort of accurate for Lynn's first year as a sideline role; though he occasionally appeared prior to that (usually during the 1980s whenever Al Michaels had to miss a Monday nighter due to covering baseball).

  • ESPN ruined MNF.

  • I like how they made sure that Lynn Swann got referenced in a separate lyric, seeing as hiow it was his first year on MNF.

  • That hit on Montana would draw a flag today.

  • reminds me of when i was 7

  • @WREYtube The only downside to that is you spend the night pondering what to watch, because there's no primetime game on Wild Card and Divisional Sunday.
