I had to make a trailer for a Film School class and I've chosen The Truman Show. I've used some of the music from the soundtrack and some contemporary music.

@vandands how did you do this? :) I mean, how is it that you were able to cut the movie? I never get that sort of things but I would like to try it myself.

@busybeingbla I have the DVD. I've opened the .vob with MPEG streamclip and exported fragments from the movie. Usually scenes where it has no music at all, and if it does contain soundtrack, you can adjust the audio to make the voices louder, plus with the music i've used you can manage to cover up the original soundtrack from the scene!
