  • I can understand exactly what you did, only I did the same thing in a spare bedroom in my house. Rode my "self built" 45 for 8 years without a problem. The MOST DEPENDABLE bike I ever had bar none. Very easy to work on (not high tech at all) and surprisingly parts are still readily available. WELL DONE!!

  • @snoman003 You're right, need only so much passion, thx for your comment

  • Wht song is this?

  • Always a child "Anandi" you can find it in AudioSwap

  • this is GREAT..i build one and used oem parts and did not clean any parts up bolted as found, took a few years to find all the parts ..but it is a Hell of a bike it does 70 mph with .20 over pistons, stock M88 carb, & high copress. Heads and magneto. the frame on my 45 is CHROME plated from the 1960s when it was a chopper i deraked it and painted it flat black, anyway i love your WLA most dependable machine in the world!

  • I see your bike, very beautiful,

    the engine runs well

    I love lived motorcycles

  • Fucked up Music

  • neat work... :-)

  • Beautiful restoration and a tremendous labor of love! I usually don't like music in videos, but this song was cool. Congrats on a great job! Ride with pride!

  • Nice resto, I look faward to your next video, Varry kool, cheers

  • @Magirusn I played your vid for my son(now 18), Explained exactly what was going on and what was being done. Kinda funny but any one who has built a basket case knows exactly what was done just looking at the pics. He remembers my bike only vaguely but he knows how much work I put into it and how much I loved it. I called it my "stress management device" cause when I was riding nothing else mattered...Surprising how clear things get when you have nothing but the sound of the bike and the wind.

  • @40HDmine Lots of parts are still available...HD45 restoration Co, Indian Joe Martin, Joe Sarafan, Ect.

My old 45 never once failed to start over 8 years! Rain, snow (yea I didn`t put it away till remembrance day Nov 11th,Ontario) weather didn`t matter, It was "bulletproof". Got the itch again...looking for another "Harley puzzle" (basket case) to build. Loved the "45" however given the scarcity of these bikes, this time I think I will be looking for a "big twin" prob an old Pan or Shovelhead.

  • i like what you did here
