@Drobium77 Yes, but it would only backfier due to wrong starting procedure or maladjustement. There is no reason to put extra strain on the kickstarter mechanism by jumping on it..A gentle but firm "step" on the pedal outta do it. (I jumped too to begin with, but knowing the work invovlved in changing pawls taught me a lesson).

You can handstart a Bullet using the kickstarter, heck there is a video on here of a petite girl doing it. Jumping like this might break the pawl, not to mention all sorts of other problems.

@meharidude How so very true. The application of "put your whole body into it" on a Bullet will only ruin your bike. That is only for the old man's wheelchair, as meharidude said. Get your ammeter done right, get the piston to TDC, and a gentle yet unyielding push will start your baby. Also, you need to change the silencer on that thing.
