Im vietnamese and still living in vietnam. They taught me that when VC came to Saigon, everybody there was very happy and welcomed them. But after seeing this, i think the communist party of vietnam is trying to re-write history and fool us all

Beside that ,those NVA bastards even promised to keep the south VC's flag & giving the full control & lands which originaly belong to the South VN to the South VC so VN gonna has 2 states : North & South .After the takeover ,what did they do ? Send all those south VC rogues back to the jungle ,somr of their generals only got the seat to control small provinces & shit .Fucking ridiculous ,giving control of provinces to those jungle-born-red-minded south VC bastards =))

but again the media of the time blew it WAAAY out of proportion. particularly as it came to the incident at the US embacy, saying that the VC had taken the embacy and there were bodies everywhere, the bastards never even made it to the front door, they all died on the grounds soon after they breeched the wall.. journalistic honesty for ya.. yellow bastards

@VivaSandino10 well that what te media of the time seemed to think, but in reality the vietcong were COMPLETELY unable to wage ANY kind of major military action after Tet, they had lost HALF of their fighting units in that offensive, entire divisions were routed. they lost thousands, we lost what, maybe a hundred. they were hoping for a mao-style sweep through the countryside, what they got was a population that was fed up with them, and they got massacred...
