@mashfan72 Respond to this video... yeah i think it is a dynasty because they've been at or near the top of the AFL for 4 or 5 years now (including 2011). They've also had the best winning record for the last 4 years and played the best footy that all the teams have looked up to. They won 2 out of 3 premierships and have been in 5 preliminary finals. so yeah i think it is a dynasty, and all the commentators agree with me

@dwellingup1 yes, except for the fact they lost in '08, struggled to get over the line in '09, and will probably bow out in the prelim of '10. Dynasty?

@russoct27 I guess there is a new definition of "dynasty" -- win one every 2nd year. Why not make it every three years?

@whoopsman I would say a "dynasty" would be winning at least back to back before losing one, or 3 in a row. Brisbane were a "dynasty" from 2001-2004. They won 3 in a row before going down to Port in '04. Having said that, Hawthorn were a dynasty in the 80s, even though they didn't win 3 in a row. They were in grand finals from '83 to '89 and finalists in '90, for 4 premierships, 3 grand final loses and an elimination final loss. I would say the Cats will qualify, win or lose GF in 2012.
