Ringera: Outrage in Parliament

There was a hostile reaction from members of parliament on the move by President Mwai Kibaki to reappoint Aaron Ringera as Director of the Kenya Anti Corruption Commission. As NTVs Rashid Ronald reports, outraged members of parliament, perhaps to prove a point, angrily voted down a procedural government motion that would have given them a break until October.

i don't knoe what Ringera has done or accomplished in prosecuting corruption the last five years he was in office. Does this mean that there wasn't corruption in the country. Give me a break.

Parliament at last serving Kenyans right. Kibaki thought that with parliament due to go on recess he could play a blinder and bring back Ringera. MPs have finally said no and now they will kick out Ringera before parliament takes a break.
