This video demonstrates how to fold the origami model "Atlantic Purple Sea Urchin" that Robert J. Lang designed. Robert kindly gave me permission to make this video accessible to you.

Diagrams for this model can be found in the book "Origami Sea Life" by John Montroll and Robert J. Lang

  • your videos are very unhelpful..... for 1... u never explain anything.... and i can never see wat fold you are doing and how you are doing it..... make the details slower..... i would seriously suggest revising your videos

  • @cbkitatakegp Please check my newer videos. I hope these are much clearer. I understand that my earlier videos aren't as helpful as they could be, but I decided to keep them online, as I do not have enough time to redo them all (at least not currently).

  • Please what size of paper do you use for this i did it but it looks too small...

  • In the video I used a 30cm square (about 12 inches).

  • sara? can u please help me from 6:40 to 7:30? i got really confused... thank you! =D

  • In the top you have half a diamond. There should be a valley fold marking the half, and mountain folds that complete the diamond. Now lift one layer of paper from the bottom, pinch the center to a mountain fold. Then fold the diamond in half along the valley fold and mountain folds (6:42). While folding push in the sides to flatten the paper on the now collapsed diamond (6:45). Now do a normal squash fold (6:50), and bring in the sides (7:06), folding another diamond in half in the top (7:10).

  • i love the squeaky noise

  • @origamikid10 Not sure, what qualifies as a cool dragon anyways? I definitely won't be doing a video on Satoshi Kamiya's ancient dragon. ;) As to subscriptions, sorry, I don't really subscribe to other channels. I'm more the video posting kind.

  • Dear Sara, i love all of your videos, all of them are described very carefully and i can see that,
