My good friend B has been transiting from a male to female since 2010. LSU's digital editing class (Art 2055) assignment allowed us to interview B and tell her side of the story.

There is a sadness to this beautiful music & I think that it mirrors the content of the film. On the one hand B's life in transition is beautiful & hopeful. Yet at the end of the film, we see the sad statistics. I think that, in the beginning, it can be difficult to sort out what your sexual orientation is going to be as a woman, particularly if you've lived your prior life as a straight man. This is why it is important to take your time & have a competent therapist to help you sort this out.

What's wrong with being a M-F who likes females. They are called trans-lesbians and make up 40% of the M-F transgenders.

Oh my god he hasn't been with a man yet. So he wants to be a woman and play the role of woman in the relationship. but he is straight. He needs to accept first that he is gay or if he even likes men he is sorta putting off. Idk my guess. But good luck to you and accept your orientation.

What hauntingly beautiful music accompanies this video. When I saw 'casting director' in the credits I began to wonder if this is a genuine story. Please tell me this IS a true story, I'd really like to think it is because all the issues dealt with by 'B' are totally as it is for transgendered people.
