I would like to release my video a bit early due to Mohammad Rafi's (famous singer) death anniversary ( 31/07/1980) . He was blessed with a voice/skill and style unique to him (Rafi), which places him amongst one of few singers ever lived nationaly/Internationaly.
I am of the opinion that we will never ever have anyone/anybody like him ' The One and Only ' Mohammad Rafi (bless him).

Coincidently it's the beginning of the Holy month of Fasting (Ramadhan). Therefore, I have chosen 'Hamd' / Poem praising God/Allah (swt) rendered by Rafi. With a prayer that Allah (swt) showers his choicest blessings upon Mr Rafi in the after life and that Allah (swt) rests his soul in eternal peace.

Hamid has added first two lines; Rendered this hymn as well as narrated and translated in English:-

Hum hae.n haqiir banday teray tuu behr-e-baekara.n hai
Ye sub tera karam hai Ya-Rab kae roshan hamaara Jaha.n hai

(Our existence is meager/perishable;You are limitless/bountiful/forever
We owe our life's glory/wellbeing to You O! God The Almighty)

Actual Hamd (Hymn):-

Parvardigaar-e-Aalam teraa hii hai sahaaraa
Teray siwaa jahaa.n mae koee nahii.n hamaaraa

(O! God The Almighty provider of everybody
We wholly solely depend upon thou; Full Stop.)

Nuuh(pbuh) kaa safiinaa tuunae tuufaan se bachaayaa
Duniyaa mae tuu hamaeshaa bando.n kae kaam aayaa
Maangii Khaliil ne jab tujhsae duaa Khudaayaa
Aatish ko tuunae fauran ek gulsitaa.n banaayaa
Har iltijaa nae terii rehamat ko hai ubhaaraa

The 1st line refers to the story of Noah's Ark or Safiinaa:- means ship/boat. Entire ship along with its passengers was saved by God from terrible cyclone.
Khalilullaah/Khaliil :- means friend of Allah (swt). This was the title of Prophet Abraham (pbuh).
Abraham (pbuh): He was thrown into fire (aatish) by non-beleivers and was saved by [God The Almighty miraculously as the fire transformed into gulistaa.n (garden) ].
Iltijaa :- means wish or prayer.

Parvardigaar-e-aalam teraa hii hai sahaaraa

Yunus (pbuh) ko tuune machhalii kae payt sae nikaalaa
Tuune hii mushkilo.n mein Ayub (pbuh) ko sambhaalaa
Ilyaas (pbuh) par karam kaa tuunae kiyaa ujaalaa
Hai do jahaa.n mein Ya-Rab taeraa hii bole baalaa
Tuunae sadaa Ilaahii bigardii ko hai sanwaaraa

Line 1 refers to Younus (Jonah). Was swallowed by a large fish and later saved
by the God who listened to Jonah's prayers in the times of disaster.
The 2nd line is about Ayub/Job (pbuh) who was afflicted with chronic sores/ailment. He was very affluent and lost everything due to the desease. God helped him during the period of tremendous suffering and eventually Prophet Ayub/Job regained his former glory.
The 3rd line is about Ilyaas/Elijah (pbuh) whose followers/community suffered torment and femine but Prophet Elijah's perseverance resulted in earning God's kindness and the suffering ended.

Parvardigaar-e-Aalam teraa hii hai sahaaraa
Teray siwaa jahaa.n mae koee nahii.n hamaaraa

Daataa tere karam kaa koii nahii.n kinaaraa

Parvardigaar-e-Aalam teraa hii hai sahaaraa
Teray siwaa jahaa.n mae koee nahii.n hamaaraa

Line 1 is about Yusuf/Joseph(pbuh) on a business trip, imprisoned for a long period in Egypt due to conspiracy hatched by a woman.
Line 2 refers to the plight of his father Yaaqub/Jacob (pbuh). Jacob thought his son (Joseph) has died and wept so much that he (Jacob) lost his eye-sight. God helped both the prophets (father and son) who re-united at one stage and Joseph re-gained his eye-sight as well.
