Lobbying: small groups buying their way into the government and imposing their views to the majority.
Usually works by gathering large amounts of money, launching mass disinformation campaigns (being right doesn't matter, only getting your point across does), making hidden agreements and, my favorite, use silent threats against people in influential positions or to silence the opposition.

lobbying = bribery. it's a way we can sidestep the 'safety controls' of congress and senate.
