  • Tratidional TSD uniforms only have the trim on the lapel, sleeves, & bottom of the jacket even for grandmasters. This form, as with most, were brought into TSD through GM Hwang Kee's reading of books on karate in the 1930's. My best friend taught Shotokan & did all the same forms we did just at different levels. So Shorin Ryu is kind of our........big brother so to speak. Look for videos of GM Ho Sik Pak under my name to see more TSD.

  • thats a gwan ja neem uniform (grandmaster)  and most karate places copy tang soo do or taekwon do forms. does your dojo have a korean flag in it? if so then you are basicallly learning taekwon do
