why is it always bmw and merc drivers. my theory is theyre over paid brainless people who work in marketing or sales. i just shout at them or get in front then go at a snails pace

You should have key'ed her door. Imagine that merc with a scratch!!!

what... wait...
I thought it was a car turning onto the road from the right, I notice now that the car on the right junction isn't a merc... crazy...

No, it was the Merc thingy and yes I did give the window a bit of a tap but it didn't make any difference so I gave that up in favour of the bakes!

And the Havering Smart camera car :-)
That car pulled out from the left even though the Merc must have been right behind you then.

Yeah, they're always eager coming out of that left. It's a difficult one because the bridge means you only get a short view of the traffic on the main road, which is usually busy and fast flowing if the zebra is not being used...
To be honest though, once I knew they were staying put I kinda stopped worrying about those cars joining from either side as I really wanted to know what the merc was going to do.

Crikey mate! Terrible driver!!
I do think you could have discouraged this by taking the lane in this situation. Still doesn't alter the fact of her bad driving though.

I'm usually quite happy to move to the right but when the driver is already beside you, there is nowhere to go. Yep, it took the merc that long to get by. I was also very aware of the cars joining from either side and the narrowing of the road at the zebra. Traffic coming from that left turn can be fast moving as visibility from that junction due to th bridge is terrible (I avoid it when driving if I can), so I was watching there too to see if that driver was about to pounce.

She was alongside you from the bridge approach?

She started to overtake from the brow of the bridge onwards
