@bobduvar Phoenicians were not Greeks. Also, Eze looks like it was founded in the middle ages so I don't think it was founded by Greeks, even if they are various Greek colonies in the area, like Nice and Monaco.

Looks nice. I have been to Eze to visit the Fragonard perfume factory, but didn't have the chance to enter the streets of the village.

You won't be sorry if you do go. Needless to say, it was great.

@amelinina That 5 weeks must've been great! Thanks for the tip on the crepes at Le Cactus. Was there this past October, but we didn't eat there. Hoping to get back this in Oct of 2012, so if I do, I'll be sure to get crepes at Le Cactus. Thanks for commenting.

Eze was beautiful when I first visited more than 35 years ago. Thanks for the nostalgic return. It's still quite beautiful!

@Nanzalak Oh yeah...definitely still beautiful today! My guess is that in another 35 years, it'll still be beautiful!!!

@MrDermo1974 Hoping to get back to Eze late in 2012. If I see someone painting on the street there, I'll as if it's "Mr. Dermo." Cheers.
