One year prior to going down the route toward eventually becoming a multidisciplinary performance artist, Sid dabbled in oddball artist performances here and there. 12 years after his first attempt at performance art, Sid decided to try again, this time at Chicago Beatlefest in 2003. Going under the guise of "Char-Yoko," Sid decided to perform the classic screaming Yoko Ono standard, "Don't Worry Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking For A Hand In The Snow) for the Chicago Beatlefest Sound-A-Like competition. Sid even went as far as dressing up like Yoko in drag, appearing all in white, whilst donning a black witch wig and aviator flyer sunglasses. That's Martin Lewis, Beatles historian (amongst other titles) introducing Sid during the contest. Even though Sid didn't make it to the Sound-A-Like finals that year, he knew deep down that something else better was around the corner.
