@emiiSAUR There are two main factors in the development of dialects, either a place is like Japan where it was hard to get from one part of the country to another or it's like how English has spread all over the world and is spoken differently by different people. Most people don't realize that there are dialects of English. Scottish English has many words (wee, laddie, lassie) that aren't in standard English but standard English speakers know them anyway. My ancestors are from Yorkshire.

@SakuraEvangeline Don't worry it isn't that bad, every country has hundreds of different dialects, most of them are just using slang, for example I come from North Yorkshire in England and we use slang that people in the south like London wouldn't. People in my area have sayings like "Divvie" (when they call someone stupid) and if you said that in London they would look at you convused and have no idea what you mean't by it.
