Just for the record. In 1968 the Baath party got in charge on Iraq, sponsored mainly by the US (via CIA). He was the next man after al-Bakr and was seen as one of the key allies for the west. We could get into all the weapon deals and awards he received (key to Detroit and so forth). But then he came up with the same idea as Mosaddegh, and ended in a similar way too. Classic.

What if there was a war and the US stayed out of it? Firstly there would be no fucking war because the US caused most of the wars its been in. Pain and suffering? How bout you go to Vietnam or Iraq and say to them that you saved them.

Got rid of Saddam? You put him there in the first place, if it wasnt for you there would be no Saddam. Rebuilt Iraqi infrastructure? You destroyed it first and now Iraq has to pay for you rebuilding it.

I think of the horrors the Nazis, Japanese, Chinese, & Russians have done to their people & others & cannot comprehend what the world would be like if the U.S. had just stayed out of it.
