i hate the faggy remake, the biggest problem for me is that in the original he just really wanted to kill them because of the past and wes craven never made it as if he was a pedo, while in the remake its because he was purely a pedo... that made it sick and disgusting. also the scene in the remake when you see him die when he was alive make him more sympathetic which is bullshit, Freddy should be scary not pitied.

I remember watching Nightmare 3 and Nightmare 4 on the big silver screen. it was fucking awesome especially Nightmare 4 with the killer soundtrack

a movie of miminal budget but the most effective disturbing death scene this death scene holds up to today as of 2012.. the CGI effects don't work in horror movies. everything about this death scene was sick from Tina's heavy breathing, etc...

@SuperWillHatch I know right? Like somehow killing the kids is ok but molesting them is WAY worse lol. Yeah I would agree that I would much rather be molested then murdered. I agree with you totally. I have noticed a lot of people have brought up that him now being just a pedo makes the remake despicable but murdering 20 kids makes the original honorable.

@welshgamer94 He was made to be a pedo but a child abuse scandal broke out and Bob Shaye made him change him to a child killer. You make it as its ok to kill the kids but not ok to molest them. Both are equal. The reason they made him more sympathetic was cause he was trying to convince Nancy and Quentin he was innocent in order to get them back to the school to make them remember what he did to them. The memories are what fuels him. It shows how amazing JEH is as an actor.

Wow this scene is just as good now as it was back then. No one had ever done anything like that before with her on the ceiling. I love from the backyard to the alley and back in the yard and then in her room. The whole sequence is just terrifying. Imagine watching that in 1984. My brother said this scene scared everyone in the theater so bad that some people got up and left.

@t0036028c The best guess would be prolly be blood loss. He cut her right in the chest, stomach, many other times on the arms and legs. That is many places to get cut in, especially the chest and stomach he did it right through them like it was nothing. xD
