Bah great commercial. Asimo has the most human movement of all the bipedal robots I've seen so far.
As to seeing him with a gun, I saw a clip of Asimo running. Imagine him with a gun then, I'd shit my pants.

For some reason i feel a sadness to this robot, it has human features and is recorgnised as one but yet it does not feel it, it feels nothing, it only thinks of what is commanded next, emotionless yet full of life.

When Asimo becomes popular with consumers, I will be willing to say "the future is now".
My goodness, before we have the time to really understand what is happening there will be Asimo 2 and 3 and so on. Before we notice, they will be forming opinions on what is good or bad and then.. you will say "go to your room Asimo" and the robot will reply "why?".
