BBC Four's Storyville looks at the plight of ordinary women in the Islamic Republic of Iran - those who are prostitutes, drug addicts, become 'Sighe' for wealthy men, those who are forced to sell their children - and how such activities are reconciled with, and often exacerbated by, Iran's strict Islamic law and image.

the daughter of Mina is sooo cute!! she deserves to have a better life! her mum is beautifull ,too! she shouldb e happily married now and raise her child in her own house! and not sell herself for a little amoung of money! thats disgusting! i feel deeply sorry 4 Mina! very beautifull young woman with a lovely child! her husband should guess himself happy, 4 having such a wife! but still they are in iran at least!! i am in a foreign country, which ih ate! and i have to live with this shit, too!
